TERRA NAVITA

This is a website I designed for some friends who were starting a Waste-To-Energy company based in the Caribbean. I created their logo, stationary, and initial website, which featured several flash animations.
TOO GRAPHIC FLYER

The challenge for this design was to create an invitation for the annual student Graphic Design Show. It was easy to come up with the concept because students like myself (at the time) were the audience. I know a funny and "too graphic" butt-crack always manages to get my attention as well as a good laugh.

NEPHEW'S CD COVER

I made a CD cover for my young nephews, who love music. I did not want it to look too childish but at the same time convey that they are two badass rocker young boys. They have a few songs that they've recorded at their dad's studio, who is a sound engineer.

LOL

the only funny part in Funny People...

SNOWBOARD DESIGNS & ADS

I submitted the following project to Salomon Snowboards for a design competition. My dream has always been to design skis and snowboards. Perhaps next year <3.>

perfume label design

Yet another school project. This time it was a perfume label. This product is targeted towards yogis but I think I pushed it with the description: "natural scents from Venezuela, India and all over the world"... that doesn't make much sense. I do not know how I come up with these ideas but at least they entertain me when I look back on them.

COCONUT BUN WEBSITE

I created this for a recipe project my web-design course made. Each of us had to come up with our favorite food and make a website about it. I picked these delicious Chinese buns. I used pictures from my best friend’s trip to China, and maninipulated them in Photoshop. Pink and yellow were used simply because I felt like it. My intention was to create the sensation of being in China, where tons neon lights and exotic foods overwhelm its visitors. I don't have the link anymore since I graduated and they stripped me of my server space :(. Boohoo.

BOOK COVER DESIGN

This school assignment was to upgrade a weak book cover's appearance. I chose to create a one for the political thriller The Third Option by Vince Flynn.

BEFORE

SAKE PACKAGING

I designed this project as an undergrad student at the University of Miami. This product is an affordable Sake wine targeted towards young adults and placed in the local supermarket next to the sushi. Kodomo Anime (children’s Japanese cartoons) was what inspired my design. The bright colors are meant to catch the attention of young buyers and remind us of Asian pop culture. The typography is similar to the illustrations that decorate the label.

SUMMER EXPOSE FLYER

This is a flyer I made for a fashion bazaar that my friends put together in June 2009. My goal was to convey femininity, summer freshness and Miami ambience, which is where the event took place. My illustration was greatly inspired by vintage french posters. The color palette was meant to clash a bit, to reflect the Miami Art Deco style that so perfectly defines this eccentric city.
